This section specifies the permissible steel number and its standards for steel used in pressurized components of pressure vessels, the technical requirements for steel, the range of steel used (temperature and pressure) and allowable stress.

This section applies to pressure vessels with design temperature between  -253 ℃~ 800 ℃, and design pressure no more than 35Mpa.
