This standard is applicable to two types of quenched and tempered structural steel bolts, the minimum tensile strength for bolt whit dimension no more than 1" is 120Ksi, and the minimum tensile strength for dimension above 1" is 105Ksi.

The supplied dimensions of bolts are 1/2"~1-1/2". The size of bolts is generally follow ASME B18.2.1 or B18.2.6 heavy series.

A563 carbon steel and alloy steel nuts are usually used for matching nuts.

F436  typeⅠhardening treated gaskets are usually chosen as matching washers.

Full-size tensile test is the first choice as the test method.
