Fasteners are widely used in various machinery, equipment, vehicles, ships, railways, bridges, buildings, structures, tools, instruments, chemicals, meters and other products. The demand for downstream applications is on the rise, which is conducive to the stable development of the fastener industry. The technological progress and industrial upgrading of the main application industries will further improve the requirements for fastener performance and quality, which will promote the technical level of the fastener industry and improve the quality of fastener products. In 2021, the domestic output of metal fasteners was 7.09 million tons, up 12.4 percent year-on-year. Domestic fastener sales revenue was 122.5 billion billion yuan, up 1.1 percent year-on-year.
Affected by the epidemic, resulting in foreign fastener supply chain blocked, thanks to the domestic prevention and control of the epidemic, foreign to domestic fastener procurement intention increased. China's fastener industry output ranks in the forefront of the world, is a veritable producer and exporter, but the unreasonable structure of domestic fastener products still exists, low-end products surplus, high-end product capacity is insufficient, fastener products are from low-end to high-end development.
